Cat Healy might have spent her formative years growing up in small, quaint Florida town, but once the independence of adulthood set in, she felt the calling of the West Coast.  After heading to California, she found  her first roommate within fifteen minutes at the Santa Monica College roommate board, it became apparent that Los Angeles and Cat were meant to be.

Shortly after moving to Malibu, Cat pursued a career in film and television acting with supporting gigs as waitress extaordinaire at Malibu's Moonshadows and Zuma Sushi.  Cat studied with the prestigious Stella Adler Conservatory and Janet Alhanti Studios, and found success with supporting roles in prime-time television, including JAG, MTV, NBC's 'Saved by the Bell-College Years' and 'California Dreams'.

It wasn't long before an interest in the music business set in and Cat shifted gears to work for music promoters All Access Music Group, followed by a position with the largest music label in the world, Universal Music Group.

A cosmic shift and some big life changes fortuitously led Cat back into the world of performance.  In addition to being a devotee of The Burning Man Project for too many years to count, Cat found herself more immersed in Los Angeles' wildly creative and inspiring Burning Man community.  A friend told her she envisioned Cat as a fabulous fire dancer and suggested she try her hand at studying with Fire Groove.  Cat took the tip and found herself so connected with and inspired by what she experienced that she realized she had discovered  a new calling, a passionate fire for cirque performance.  A mere two years after studying with Fire Groove and honing her skills at various venues throughout Los Angeles, Cat was hired by Fire Groove for a New Years Eve show, and Red Swan Entertainment for a month long fire show called 'Inferno' at Knott's Berry Farm.  As a member of the fire conclave Burn Academy, Cat had the great honor of performing at Burning Man 2009 in the Great Circle right under the man before he burned in the Trick Concepts show 'Cirque Diabolique'.  In addition to performing with Fire Groove and many other exotic performance troupes, Cat can be seen as the mesmerizing fire dancer recorded on the jumbo tron during Usher's performance of his hit single 'Hot Tottie' on his live world tour.

Cat is also pursuing the beautiful and mysterious world of body airbrush art.  She was hired by the avant-garde performance troupe Lucent Dossier Experience to paint their performers for a large corporate job in the Caribbean, and is fast becoming a force in the field.

She co-created a magical nightly creative space at Lighting in a Bottle Festival that featured burlesque, comedians, pole dancing, sketch comedy, glow performance, magic acts, vaudeville, DJ.s, singers, live music and casino gaming for fun!  Check out the photos from the event - Amori's (scroll down after clicking the link)

Cat recently jumped back into the world of mainstream acting again and is thrilled to be back to her roots. Check out her new acting website.

Cat resides in Santa Monica and is passionate about pursuing a career as a fire dancer, artist and actress, exploring the art of cirque and continuing to set the world on fire!
